VirtueVax came to VO Group with the goal of informing the public the risks associated with influenza. In 2017, there were a substantial number of deaths linked to the flu. VO engaged shock media outreach to promptly inform the media and preventative ways against the flu.

Milky Lane appointed VO Group to generate media coverage regionally and nationally surrounding the launch of the new Surfers Paradise location. VO implemented an integrated public relations strategy and focused on publicising the expansion from Sydney to the Gold Coast. The Commonwealth Games are just around the corner and Electrik Lemonade are the headlining act for the CBD Street Party. This media event was the perfect opportunity to get the first scoop on the band and an interview with Gold Coast mayor, Tom Tate. The media coverage was a success with Channel 7 Gold Coast, Channel 9 Gold Coast News and the Gold Coast Bulletin attending the media event.

Through VO’s commitment to clients and consistent media outreach, the placement for Australian Acupuncture Clinics in the Gold Coast Bulletin attracted the attention of other media channels. Through ongoing media outreach, VO Group successfully secured coverage in the Gold Coast Bulletin for Cosmetic Acupuncture treatments for Aus Acu. VO was able to find a story angle that piqued the media’s attention. The results have given Aus Acu more awareness on the Gold Coast and an increase in bookings just one day after going to print.
The mobile app company joins forces with local charity, Livin
Carbuzzzn approached VO Group to develop a campaign strategy surrounding the launch of the new game app and to promote the event for the official launch. VO utilised various media and influencers to create awareness and entice the public to understand the Carbuzzzn brand.
“Buzzzn 4 Livin” campaign was introduced in the launch and involved Carbuzzzn linking up with non-profit organisation ‘Livin’, a charity founded to wipe out the stigma surrounding mental illness. The campaign encouraged the community to get involved in a day full of family fun activities. The results were a success in not only raising awareness of mental health but Livin’s relationship with Carbuzzzn.
Open Day promotion for Harmony Early Learning
VO was commissioned to introduce Harmony Early Learning Journey to the childcare market and to promote the Open Day event of the first centre, whilst their four other locations were under construction. The overarching goal was to increase the awareness of the overall brand. Through consistent media outreach in the lead up to the opening days for each child care centre, it was possible to gain targeted awareness and build a positive reputation among families with children within the local communities.
Gold Coast City Council - Emerging Creative Bootcamps
The “Emerging Creatives Bootcamp”, is an initiative of the Gold Coast Council and Gold Coast City Libraries. These bootcamp workshops are specially designed for young Gold Coast creatives and entrepreneurs aged between 18-24 years. VO Group was invited to participate in the weekend event to host creative workshops that actively engaged and motivated the kids. Using social media promotion and contacting local media, the engagement VO Group received for their involvement with ECB was a success and raised awareness of this great initiative.

Due to VO’s previous knowledge with launching Affinity Education Group on the stock market, Pricewaterhouse Coopers invited VO to initiate the launch of Evolve Education after their decision to go public in New Zealand. VO’s involvement with this campaign and ongoing media outreach ensured they had the promotion and awareness they needed to promote the Evolve Education Group brand.

As a leader in the education market, childcare operator, Affinity Education Group approached VO Group with the massive project. Affinity decided to offer shares of stocks to the public and VO Group’s services were used to promote this within the media and drive awareness to the Affinity Education Group brand.

VO has worked closely with Carbuzzzn previously, initially for the launch of the mobile application.
